Abstract: This research, "A Study of the Effects of Yoga Training on the Health and Well-being of Thai People," aimed to investigate the effects of yoga training on the health and well-being of the population and to compare the health status and physical fitness of the sample group. The sample group consisted of 30 male and female volunteers aged 25-70 years who participated in a 10-week yoga training program. The research instruments included:
1. A general information questionnaire.
2. A record sheet for health and physical fitness tests.
3. A yoga training program consisting of warm-up exercises, yoga poses, and cool-down exercises.
4. Instruments for measuring health status and physical fitness.
Data collection involved pre-training health and physical fitness tests to assess health status. In the experimental phase, a yoga training program designed by the researcher was implemented for 10 weeks, 3 days a week. Health status was assessed, and all data were analyzed to find the mean, percentage, maximum, minimum, and standard deviation. The difference in mean health status and physical fitness before and after participating in the yoga program was tested using the t-test.
