Department of Physical Education Welcomes Faculty Members and Students from the Faculty of Sports Science and Health, Thailand National Sports University, Suphan Buri Campus, for a Study Visit at the National Stadium

Mr. Mongkol Wimonrat, Director-General of the Department of Physical Education, assigned Mr. Suthon Wichairat and Mr. Surat Jaranayothin, Deputy Directors-General of the Department of Physical Education, to welcome 53 faculty members and students from the Faculty of Sports Science and Health, Thailand National Sports University, Suphan Buri Campus, on the occasion of their study visit to learn about sports promotion and sports science operations of the Department of Physical Education at Suphachalasai Stadium, National Stadium, Bangkok.
During the visit, the delegation toured several key facilities within the National Stadium complex. The program began at Suphachalasai Stadium, where participants learned about the stadium’s history and its significance in the development of Thai sports. The group then visited the Recreation Center, where Acting Sub-Lieutenant Pramote Lertchitkarun, Director of the Bureau of Recreation, together with Ms. Ratcharawalai Sawangarun, Director of the Research and Development Group, welcomed the delegation and provided a briefing on the roles, responsibilities, and operational approaches of the Department of Physical Education in the field of recreation. The participants also toured the Library and the Physical Education and Sports Museum to gain knowledge and insight into the history of Thai sports.
In addition, the delegation visited the Center for the Preservation of Muay Thai and Traditional Thai Sports, where Mr. Panitan Hongthong, Director of the Muay Thai and Traditional Thai Sports Preservation Group, welcomed the participants and shared knowledge on the history, values, and significance of Muay Thai as an important element of Thailand’s cultural heritage.
In the afternoon, the group visited the Sports Science and Exercise Center at Nimibutr Stadium. They were welcomed by Mr. Atcharat Yongtawee, Director of the Bureau of Sports Science, who provided information and knowledge on sports science applications in sports development and performance enhancement. The students also had the opportunity to participate in a cognitive performance assessment using a brain function testing program, enabling them to gain insights into their cognitive abilities and brain performance.
