Director-General of the Department of Physical Education Provides Information to House Sports Committee to Advance Thailand’s National Sports Strategy and Missions

Mr. Mongkon Wimonrat, Director-General of the Department of Physical Education, together with Mr. Worapong Sukkoed, Acting Director of the Strategy and Planning Division of the Department of Physical Education, attended a meeting of the House Committee on Sports to provide information, facts and views on the Department’s strategic plan and mission-driven operations.

The briefing also covered the overall landscape of sports development in Thailand, budget administration, approaches to sports-related integration and collaboration, as well as challenges, obstacles and operational limitations faced by the Department of Physical Education.

The meeting was chaired by Mr. Chakkraphan Piyaphonpaiboon, Chairman of the House Committee on Sports. Also in attendance were members of the committee, representatives from the National Olympic Committee of Thailand under Royal Patronage, the Sports Authority of Thailand, and the National Sports Development Fund.

The meeting took place at Committee Meeting Room N 402, 4th Floor, Parliament Building.
