Mr. Mongkol Wimonrat, Director-General of the Department of Physical Education, assigned Mr. Surat Joranayothin, Deputy Director-General of the Department of Physical Education, to honor the opening ceremony and present awards for the "Phatthalung Balance Bike Champion Cup 2026." Acting Lieutenant Noraphat Yaemsruan, Director of the Children and Youth Recreation Group and Acting Specialist in Recreation Promotion and Development, also honored the event, which was presided over by Mr. Tharawoot Chuaykerd, Deputy Governor of Phatthalung Province.
The Phatthalung Balance Bike Champion Cup 2026 is a joint collaboration between the Department of Physical Education, the Phatthalung Bike Kids Club, the Phatthalung Provincial Office of Tourism and Sports, and the Phatthalung Town Municipality. The event is scheduled to take place from February 14-15, 2026, at Saensuk Lampam Beach, Mueang Phatthalung District. This competition has received an excellent response, with a large number of athletes aged between 2-15 years old from Phatthalung, various other provinces, as well as from Malaysia, Singapore, and Indonesia participating. The atmosphere is filled with cheers from spectators and parents who brought their children to compete. In addition, the event features shops selling balance bike products for attendees to browse and purchase.
The Phatthalung Balance Bike Champion Cup 2026 is an activity funded by the Department of Physical Education under the Public Recreation Activity Support Project for the 2026 fiscal year, Activity 2: Subsidizing, Promoting, and Supporting Recreational Activities for Children and Youth within the Country, with a budget support of 80,000 THB.
