Mr. Thawat Thawornsawat, Deputy Director-General of the Department of Physical Education, presided over the opening ceremony of the "Sports Science for Physical Education Teachers Project, Class 1," with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sombat Chinawong, Vice President of Kamphaeng Saen Campus, delivering the welcoming remarks.

The project, held between July 10-12, 2013, at the Faculty of Sports Science, Kasetsart University, Kamphaeng Saen Campus, Nakhon Pathom Province, is a collaboration between the Department of Physical Education and the Faculty of Sports Science, Kasetsart University, Kamphaeng Saen Campus. The participants include 50 physical education teachers from schools nationwide. The objective is to develop teachers in the Health and Physical Education learning area in schools, equipping them with sports science knowledge to apply in their teaching and to organize more comprehensive sports training programs.

Interested persons can apply to participate in Class 2 of the project, which will be held between August 28-30, 2013.
