The Coke® C
up U17 Thailand Football Championship 2026 concluded in grand fashion as Assumption United claimed the championship title in the final round held at Suphachalasai Stadium.
On this occasion, Mr. Mongkon Wimonrat, Director-General of the Department of Physical Education, assigned Dr. Suthon Wichairat, Deputy Director-General of the Department of Physical Education, to attend the final match and receive a plaque of appreciation in recognition of the Department’s support for the Coke® Cup U17 Thailand Football Championship.
Also attending the ceremony were “Madam Pang” Nualphan Lamsam, President of the Football Association of Thailand under Royal Patronage; Mr. Sanon Wangsrangboon, Deputy Governor of Bangkok; Mr. Kitisak Manoratana, Senior Marketing Director of Coca-Cola Thailand Limited; Mr. Pornwut Sarasin, Chairman of ThaiNamthip Corporation Limited; and Major General Patchara Rattakul, Chief Executive Officer of Haad Thip Public Company Limited.
The tournament marked the successful conclusion of the first chapter of the newly relaunched Coke® Cup, which returned as a full-scale platform to elevate skills and ignite the dreams of young Thai footballers. The competition was organized through a collaboration between Coca-Cola’s business group in Thailand and the Football Association of Thailand under Royal Patronage (FAT).
Throughout the tournament, more than 192 youth teams from six regions across Thailand participated in 195 matches from May to August. The competition aimed to identify promising young talents and lay the foundation for the development of Thai footballers toward the international stage.
In the highly anticipated final at Suphachalasai Stadium, Assumption United, known as the “Little Tycoons,” defeated Chonburi FC, known as the “Sharks,” with a thrilling 6–3 victory to claim the Coke® Cup U17 Thailand Football Championship 2026 title and receive THB 1 million in prize money. The first runner-up received THB 500,000.
Earlier, during the national round held from August 18–20, both finalists had battled past champions and runners-up from all six regions, with a total of 12 teams competing. They advanced to the final four alongside Chainat Hornbill and Maejo United, before earning their places in the championship match.
This year’s final marked the closing chapter of the first season of the relaunched tournament, which provided young Thai players with a valuable stage to showcase their potential over several months of competition. It also served as the beginning of greater opportunities for these rising stars on their football journeys.
Beyond the action on the pitch, Coca-Cola also created exclusive experiences for football fans nationwide through activities and promotions from “Coke” and “Coke Zero”. The final was further energized by a special performance from popular artist Pun Saranawut Pichaironnarongsongkram, bringing entertainment and excitement to fans at the stadium.
These activities reinforced Coca-Cola’s commitment to delivering moments of happiness and connecting football fans with the spirit of world-class sporting events in a way that only Coke can.
The return of the Coke® Cup this year also marks the beginning of a three-year partnership from 2026 to 2028 between Coca-Cola Thailand, as the main sponsor, and the Football Association of Thailand under Royal Patronage, as the league administrator and athlete development body.
Both organizations will continue to advance this platform of opportunity to discover and develop a new generation of Thai youth footballers, helping drive their dreams from the Coke® Cup stage toward national, Asian, and global football arenas.
