# To promote sports standards,
the Department of Physical Education, Ministry of Tourism and Sports, in collaboration with the Gymnastics Association of Thailand, organized a basic-level rhythmic gymnastics referee training course from August 1-3, 2018, at the Gymnastics Training Center of the Gymnastics Association of Thailand. Ms. Amphaiporn Chaisri, Executive Committee member of the Association, gave the opening remarks, and Dr. Kusumal Prasertsri, Vice President of the Gymnastics Association of Thailand, presided over the opening ceremony and served as a lecturer, presenting on the topic of "Ethics of Rhythmic Gymnastics Referees." She was joined by Ms. Sumalee Sukha, coach of the Thai national rhythmic gymnastics team and a FIG (International Gymnastics Federation) referee. 40 people participated in the training.
