# To promote sports standards,
the Department of Physical Education, in collaboration with the Climbing Sport Association of Thailand and Ubon Ratchathani Rajabhat University, organized a basic level (level 1) climbing referee training course
from July 16-20, 2018, at Ubon Ratchathani Rajabhat University, Ubon 
Ratchathani Province 
. Mr. Wasan Nuiphirom, Deputy Director-General of the Department of Sericulture, Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives, and a member of the Executive Committee of the Climbing Sport Association of Thailand, delivered a report to the presiding officer, Assoc. Prof. Thammarak Laongnuan, President of Ubon Ratchathani Rajabhat University, who officiallyopened the ceremony. Mr. Somboon Uthaiwiankul, President of the Climbing Sport Association of Thailand, also attended the opening ceremony and served as a lecturer.
