The Department of Physical Education collaborates with Naresuan University to organize training for basketball and volleyball referees.

On December 21, 2017, at the Mayflower Hotel in Mueang District, Phitsanulok Province, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Samran Meechang, Dean of the Faculty of Education, Naresuan University, presided over the closing ceremony and presented certificates for the project to promote sports volunteers and exercise leaders, specifically for the basic training of basketball and volleyball referees. Instructors from the Department of Physical Education provided the training.

The Institute for the Development of Physical Education and Sports Personnel, Department of Physical Education, in collaboration with Naresuan University, is organizing a project to promote sports volunteers and exercise leaders (in the field of sports referees) for basketball and volleyball. The aim is to increase the number of local referees for both sports to meet the needs of all areas of Phitsanulok province, as well as to train athletes to be disciplined and respectful of the rules, which is part of an effort to improve the standards of basketball and volleyball.

This training course, organized by the Department of Physical Education, focused on theory, including rules and various aspects of management, as well as practical training to develop knowledge, understanding, and proficiency in officiating in real basketball and volleyball competitions. The training took place from December 18-21, 2017, at the Mayflower Hotel, Naresuan University, and Phitsanulok Technical College, with 84 participants successfully completing the course.
