The Department of Physical Education concludes coach training in Chaiyaphum.
On November 17, 2016, at the Institute of Physical Education, Chaiyaphum Campus, Mr. Santi Pahawai, Director of the Institute for the Development of Physical Education and Sports Personnel, Department of Physical Education, presided over the certificate awarding ceremony and closing of the Department of Physical Education's Basic Level Coaching Training Program for Volleyball, Athletics, Sepak Takraw, and Futsal. A total of 190 participants attended the training program.
The Institute for the Development of Physical Education and Sports Personnel, Department of Physical Education, in collaboration with the Institute of Physical Education, Chaiyaphum Campus, organized a training program for coaches of volleyball, athletics, sepak takraw, and futsal (basic level). The aim was to provide participants with the knowledge, abilities, and skills to become coaches of these sports to international standards, fostering a positive attitude and enabling them to effectively coach youth and the general public. The training took place from November 11-17, 2016, at the Institute of Physical Education, Chaiyaphum Campus. The curriculum emphasized both theoretical and practical aspects, adhering to international standards in coaching principles, coaching ethics, and coaching methods. The Department of Physical Education hopes that this training will serve as a model for effective sports coaching for youth and the public.
Mr. Santi Pahawai, Director of the Institute for the Development of Physical Education and Sports Personnel, Department of Physical Education, stated that, “The Department of Physical Education places great importance on developing sports coaches. This training aims to provide trainees with knowledge of the principles and enhance their skills and abilities in coaching volleyball, athletics, sepak takraw, and futsal (basic level) to international standards. Trainees will have the opportunity to receive comprehensive theoretical and practical knowledge from expert instructors in each sport. This will enable all trainees to apply their coaching knowledge to develop children, youth, and the general public in Thailand.”
