Pol. Col. Naras Savestanan, Director-General of the Department of Corrections, presided over the opening ceremony of the Inmate Sports Tournament, Year 2019, Final Round (Regional Level), with Mr. Phatchara Tangpanich, Director of the Bureau of Recreation, representing the Department of Physical Education to attend the opening ceremony and present the medals.

The Department of Physical Education, in collaboration with the Department of Corrections, organized the Inmate Sports Tournament, Year 2019.

The final round aims to rehabilitate, restore, and develop the behavioral traits of inmates in a concrete manner to return good citizens to society.

It also promotes and supports inmates with specific talents in various sports skills, with a total of 65 inmates from 25 prisons and correctional institutions in Region 2 and Region 10 participating in the final round.

This tournament features competitions in 4 types of sports, including Futsal, Volleyball, Sepak Takraw, and Petanque.

At the Central Young Offenders Institution, Khlong Hok Sub-district, Pathum Thani Province.
