Abstract: The long history of Muay Thai began with its application in ancient warfare. Today, Muay Thai has been adapted for military use under the name "Lerdrit," which differs from modern Muay Thai practiced as a sport involving the use of gloves to prevent injuries. Muay Thai is still widely recognized as the "Art of Eight Limbs," which utilizes two hands, two feet, two elbows, and two knees.
