At the Boonsom Martin Conference Room, Department of Physical Education
Mr. Mongkol Wimonrat, Director-General of the Department of Physical Education, assigned Mr. Surat Joranayothin, Deputy Director-General of the Department of Physical Education, to preside over the 3rd meeting to monitor the progress of the survey on physical exercise, sports, and recreational activities for the 2026 fiscal year. The meeting was attended by Miss Jaruwan Dokkaew, Director of the Bureaucracy Development Group, along with relevant personnel from the Department of Physical Education and physical education officers from across the country via an online system (e-Meeting).
The meeting was convened to supervise and monitor the performance of physical education officers nationwide in surveying and recording data regarding physical exercise, sports, and recreational activities into the system at https://esurveydpe.dpe.go.th. The goal is to complete the survey across all provinces, covering a total of 400 Enumeration Areas (EAs) by May 30, 2026. This operation directly serves as the metric for the proportion of the population that exercises regularly against the total population, as well as the percentage of citizens who engage in recreational activities as a way of life. These are Key Performance Indicators (Strategic KPIs) of the Ministry of Tourism and Sports and serve as performance evaluation metrics for government agencies under the Ministry of Tourism and Sports for the 2026 fiscal year.
