Deputy Director-General of the Department of Physical Education Visits the "Sports Science Showcase" Mobile Clinic for the 2026 Fiscal Year

Mr. Surat Joranayothin, Deputy Director-General of the Department of Physical Education, accompanied by Mr. Winai Thongrat, President of the Trang Provincial Sports Association, Mrs. Phiangjai Chuayphan, Director of the Sports Authority of Thailand (SAT) Phatthalung Provincial Office, and physical education officers from Surat Thani and Phatthalung provinces, visited the "Sports Science Showcase" event. This initiative operates under the Mobile Sports Science Project aimed at enhancing the health and well-being of children and youth for the 2026 fiscal year. The delegation also toured the Sports Science Service Center and the "Sports Science Mobile Clinic" unit operated by the Sports Authority of Thailand, alongside the Doping Control Agency of Thailand (DCAT) booth. These services are being provided during the 41st National Youth Games, "Surat Thani Games," at the Central Stadium of Surat Thani Province, where numerous athletes and members of the public actively participated and utilized the services.

This event reflects a strong collaboration between the Department of Physical Education and the Sports Authority of Thailand in driving sports science knowledge into field-level practical application. The showcase features various hands-on workshops, including:

Furthermore, this activity provides an excellent opportunity for athletes, youth, and the general public to learn about and experience sports technology up close, while raising awareness about the importance of exercising and maintaining proper healthcare based on scientific principles.

Interested individuals can visit and participate in the Sports Science Showcase from May 7–13, 2026, between 10:00 AM and 6:00 PM at the Central Stadium of Surat Thani Province (located behind the boxing gymnasium) during the 41st National Youth Games "Surat Thani Games."
