Mr. Mongkol Wimonrat, Director-General of the Department of Physical Education, assigned Mr. Suthon Wichairat, Deputy Director-General of the Department of Physical Education, together with Mr. Thaweesak Prasitan, Director of the Regional Sports Division, to attend the meeting and press conference for the “Domestic Power 2025–2026 Volleyball Project,” a comprehensive sports promotion initiative under the “Sports Promotion Project for Thai National Development under Royal Patronage.”

The event was attended by Lt. Col. Samarnmit Pattana, Committee Member and Assistant Secretary of the Steering Committee of the Sports Promotion Project for Thai National Development under Royal Patronage representing the Royal Affairs Office; Mr. Somporn Chaibangyang, President of the Volleyball Association of Thailand; Dr. Pattapong Pongsakul, Inspector General of the Ministry of Tourism and Sports; Mr. Surasak Koetchanthuek, Deputy Governor of the Sports Authority of Thailand for Sports Promotion; as well as government officials and representatives from related organizations.

On the same day, a meeting was also held to follow up on and report the operational results of the Domestic Power 2024–2025 Volleyball Project under the “Sports Promotion Project for Thai National Development under Royal Patronage.” The meeting aimed to discuss guidelines for integrating operations between the Royal Patronage project and the Domestic Power 2025–2026 Volleyball Project in order to enhance sports management systems and athlete development, ultimately contributing to the sustainable growth of Thailand’s sports industry.
